Who we are
pokemonbattlegrounds.online is an independent fan site for playing Pokemon Battlegrounds in the browser (the itch.io project also known as Pokemon Battle Advanced / PBA). We are not Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK, The Pokémon Company, or the fan-game authors. The playable game opens from a third-party host inside a frame on our pages.
What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data practices for pages on pokemonbattlegrounds.online only. When you play the embedded game, scores, names, and storage on the game host follow that host’s own rules. We do not receive a copy of those player profiles.
What we collect
We do not ask for a name, email, phone number, or payment card to browse or play. There is no account system on this domain. Like most websites, our host may keep ordinary server logs needed to keep the site online and secure.
- Browser type, device class, and language preferences sent by your browser
- Approximate region inferred from the connection (not precise GPS)
- Request time, path, status code, and referrer if the browser sends one
- Technical error reports from the hosting platform when a page fails
We do not sell a list of players. We do not build a marketing profile from an email inbox, because we do not collect one on the public site.
Advertising and third-party cookies
Some pages may show ads from third-party networks. Those partners may use cookies, web beacons, pixels, or similar technologies to serve ads, measure how ads perform, limit how often you see the same creative, and (where allowed) show interest-based ads. We do not knowingly pass your name, email, or phone number into ad requests. Ad tags should not include personal identifiers in the URL. If a partner offers non-personalised ads in your region, you can use their controls or a browser consent tool where one is shown.
Embedded games and other third parties
Game frames and some related embeds load from outside pokemonbattlegrounds.online (for example itch.io / itch.zone HTML5 hosts, or YouTube for the trailer). Those parties can set their own cookies and see their own traffic. Opening an embed is a visit to that third party under their terms.
Children and audience
Content on this site is aimed at a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents who believe a child sent us personal data by email can write to the contact address below so we can delete that message.

Retention
Server logs are kept only as long as the host needs for security and operations, then rotated or deleted under that host’s schedule. Emails you send to support are kept only as long as needed to answer you.

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a posted change means the new text applies to later visits.
